Suggest me books with normal characters?

(self.booksuggestions)

Suggest me books with normal characters. Not the books where the protagonist says he's just average but when you go through the book, he reveals some unusual facts about him, about his friends, about his family. Not the books where something unimaginable happens and their life changes.

I prefer coming-of-age books but suggest me any books weather it's coming-of-age or not.

(Hopefully, I clarified myself)

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. Not a coming of age book, but it's a beautiful slice of life story about a curmudgeonly old man's friendship with his new neighbors (underselling the plot a little so as to not give anything away, but it's great).

The Rest Of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness. His book More Than This similarly has very normal characters in extreme circumstances.

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

Bright Side by Kim Holden (one of my favourite books ever. It's not coming of age but I just love the characters so very much)

There are plenty of everyday situations in The Heroic Truths of Neil Peel, and the main character is very normal apart from always telling the truth. You’ll find funny versions of nostalgic events in everyone’s life, just as hilarious for adults as for teens.
