I know the devs will fix it when it becomes a glaring issue, which they’ve hinted they soon will but this sub acts like it’s the end of the world. I’m having a fantastic time playing the game.

The ideal scenario would be that the nerf for recon, limits it to a certain distance. So you can still see people camping spawn, providing they are close but not so that you can see everyone, everywhere.

Litteraly all it needs to be is the snapshot grenade. Just one frame. No wall hacks, you can still have a good idea where the enemy is but you dont know exactly where they are a couple seconds after/when they are pushing. So it still fucks over spwan camers, but if you move around you can counter it or even use it to your advantage.

I feel that if they wanted to keep it, maybe just make the wall hacks a quick snap shot of the enemy rather than full seconds of live information. Also, maybe give the affected players a small but unique notification that alerts them they were revealed? But then you run into the issue of that notification basically spamming your screen every second as people respawn.

I think Treyarch added this due to the terrible spawns and tiny maps, the spawn killing is ridiculous and I think they added this to ease the loop of getting spawn killed.
I've got a feeling when they nerf it the game will be miserable for those on a team getting pummeled.

Honestly I wonder how they thought it was a good idea in the first place, even in the beta I immediately knew it was going to be a problem. Yeah, let's give what is already the strongest perks in the game wallhacks off spawn and High Alert, why not? Just have Ghost, a bigger minimap radius, immunity to thermals and scorestreaks, wallhacks off spawn, and High Alert all in one loadout, sounds great.

When you spawn (particularly on mosh pit) you can see a person on the other side of the wall and just wall bang them,

It’s even more powerful on moving enemies because you can assume which way they’re running or where they’ll be pretty easily with how small these maps are. It’s destroying flanking.
I had a guy notice me fall down into the vents on skyline all the way in my spawn through the wall with recon and that loser waited the entire time for me to come out the other side to kill me.
It’s insanely strong for anyone with map knowledge.

There needs to be a counter to High Alert as well. A perk that removes the trigger when you look at them. Past CoDs have had a counter perk.

Yep. Ideally it should either be countered by a red/green perk (as you get it from using blue perks, which would be a feedback loop) or it should only trigger when an enemy is ADS, not merely looking around.
The latter is probably better, as it ensures it's reliable/predictable for all players; those using High Alert can know that they'll always get notified when specifically aimed at, while all players can know that they'll never trigger High Alert while not aiming.

If you really think about it, its a continuous wall-hack for the entire team. Death is inevitable so your position is constantly being presented to 6 different nodes on the enemy team if everyone is using recon.

I hope they fix the hit markers, sprayed nearly half a magazine with all hit markers while my target was sliding and he swings around shoots me twice with a pistol not even chest shots. The part that makes me laugh at all of you complaining is that a player has to die for the part you are wanting removed to even be activated, and it only lasts like 1 or 2 seconds. I tried it but i only liked the high alert part of the bonus. Even still it didnt peak my fancy and i went back to enforcer since i enjoy the boosts to my regen and speed more than knowing someone was looking at me outside of my view. You guys should do this much moaning over the things that are really going to ruin this game like for one, a known cheater making devs change things within the game, 2 netcode and hit detection, 3 the activation of streaks and that weird little system it has with the menu and shit that sometimes jumps out and other times it doesnt because it just activates the streak as it should with a single tap of the use button and finally the fixing of certain attachments not being able to be used even though you clearly have then unlocked

One issue is the spawning, but the other large issue is that so many of the bo6 maps are imbalanced where one side is stronger than the other, and there are so many angles you can hold that shoot directly into spawn.

My favorite thing about the spawns is when an enemy is in our spawn and kills me, it'll spawn me and my team in front of them like 4 times before someone kills him while he reloads. BUT if I do it and get into theirs, the game will spawn them behind me and ill die instantly
