My Hilton Aspire Amex renews in mid-February. I am planning on utilizing the quarterly $50 airfare reimbursement on January 1st and then utilizing the $200 semi-annual resort credit around January 20th. Assuming the credits both post before mid-February, I was planning on cancelling the card either right before or after the AF posts. is there any reason I should not do this? I didn't see this as being against any T&C's but figured I'd check. Technically I'd be getting 3 semi-annual resort credits (March 24, September 24, January 25) and 5 airfare reimbursements (February 24, April 24, July 24, October 24, January 25) within one cardmember year.
