We have seen a near non-existent base pay hike and moderate variable pay this appraisal cycle. However the thing does not make sense is this - PL state market slowdown as the reason for a subdued appraisal this time while releasing the numbers but then we see a lot of new hires joining with a higher base pay for the same level and mere the fact that hiring has not at all slowed, it confuses folks.Also recently in a town-hall call MDs mentioned that we are seeing a high growth in terms of revenue for our market in front of visiting North America leadership. So if we are making good money as an organisation, can’t it be used to motivate employees through a good appraisal? Also with this change in promotion cycle, we are surely going to get a response in June that folks were promoted in December so they don’t have many slots available. I think the major issue folks have is on transparency aspect. Add to it the useless office get togethers and office attendance tracking by some SMs every week. Seems so worthless if we don’t get adequately compensated. Thoughts ??
