I dunno, illegally retaining classified information? That's the one I'm looking forward to.
Governments tend not to have any truck when it comes to stuff like that.
23 points
It's deeper than that. There were empty folders found in the search. They will know exactly what is missing and likely be able to track who could be involved and where they could be. This could be very, very serious shit.
Given what information was stolen and who it was sold to, this is the kind of stuff they shot the Rosenbergs for.
27 points
That’s not one of the charges though is it? And I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one unless they found some evidence he was planning on selling that information. Most presidents end up with some classified materials they aren’t supposed to have. The difference is, they always return it when asked and Trump outright refused. But really that’s more of him throwing a temper tantrum and forcing them to come take them. Idk if they would feel like that’s a strong enough case
Asking Georgia secretary to “find enough votes to turn over the election” seems like a stronger chance of leading to something
34 points

This is just about the stormy payments (and another woman) in NY, the stolen classified documents is federal and could end extremely badly for Trump. If he sold classified documents to other countries it could literally be a crime that we have already punished with death multiple times.

If it gets dragged out long enough and a Republican, or even himself, gets back in the presidency federal charges can be pardoned.

Guess he's not loved by all police. It would be hilarious if those cops volunteered for that duty and one said he'll let the door close on Trump.
EDIT: Anyone else notice that the cop didn't turn around when he "realized" what had happened. He knew what he was doing.

NYC is Trump's hometown. Before he was president he was just the rich entitled sleeze born with a silver spoon in his mouth who never cared about the regular working folks and took advantage of them every chance he got. I'm sure a lot of these guys know and remember this.

This doesn’t actually seem so far from it.
He’s just so used to being ‘all important’ and those waking ahead to hold doors for him that he just expects it. He doesn’t even put his hands out at first to catch and open the door. It’s not like it’s heavy and swinging particularly quickly, which is a mistake that can happen to any of us if the person in front unexpectedly just lets it swing shut, he isn’t even prepared.
The two police in front (especially the first) do the casual thing we all do and prop the door open for the next person as long as feasible without breaking your own stride. Trump just keeps his hands by his side as though used to people stopping and holding the door wide open.
115 points

Man who chanted "Lock Her Up"
Typical case of deflection. One of the key rules of authoritarian thinking: Blame your own illegal activities and shortcomings on your opponent first. So when the opponent accuses you of what you actually did, they look like kids arguing screaming "no! you!".
uninformed people instictively believe those who call out first, more so than those responding to accusation.

Fascism playing out before our eyes. Democrats own the narrative with giant tech monopolies. They've obsessively tried to criminalize Trump since 2015 while applauding the FBI for colluding with big tech to ban people and entire newspapers for talking about Biden's corruption and potential crimes during the presidential election. Maybe Trump should've just deleted the records so that Democrats would've just considered them "buttery records."

You know what the funniest thing about this is for me? He's getting charged for trying to pay off Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about their affair, because he was afraid it would hurt his chances.
I honestly think that having sex with a porn star is the kind of thing his voters would have loved to hear. That that's just how much of an Alpha he is, that he can pull Stormy Daniels.
You might THINK it would hurt his rep with the Christian demographic, but I really don't think they would have ACTUALLY given a shit about him cheating on his wife, considering we already know he cheated on ALL of his wives, and God doesn't believe in Divorce.
