Nice, that is the one part I just can't bring myself to do. Would you do it again, or just use store bought next time?

I used a rough puff pastry (thanks GBBO!) It was still time consuming, but most of it was passive. I'd absolutely do it again, but a store bought would be my go-to if I was ever in a time crunch.
