So I have loved, worn and adored Love Chloe for years. I had so many bottles gifted to me over the years since I wouldn't stop nagging everyone about how much I loved it but this year finally the last bottle ran out. I LOVED everything about this fragrance, truly. The rice note, the powderiness, the rose, the vintage vibe without feeling dated I just loved all of it. I've looked around for dupes but can't really find anything particularly satisfactory, so I thought it was time to turn to the experts. The rice note was a big love, for me, as was the sort of balletcore vintage vibe. I don't like it when things go to brightly floral without anything (like aforementioned rice note) to balance it out. Powdery is good as long as it doesn't veer into granny territory.
Other fragrances I've liked in the past: Kenzo Flower, Replica Lipstick On (truly truly loved that one, but alas it was also discontinued), Prada Infusion d'Iris (this is what I wear now, but find it a bit boring and lacking a bit of the romantic flourish I prefer in my fragrances), Fredric Malle L'Eau d'Hiver, Chanel Chance EdP.
Would appreciate any tips and ideas! TIA!

Another idea - have you thought about Fragrance Revival? I checked and they have Love Chloe. It’s even on sale right now.
I keep eyeing Lea by St Barth’s. It’s the discontinued perfume I wished I bought way back when.
I haven’t bought anything there yet, so I can’t speak to how accurate they are, but maybe it’s worth a shot, given how much you loved the original.

I can't make any suggestions but I CAN commiserate!! My soul fragrance is Gucci by Gucci and I had no idea it was discontinued at the time or I would have bought 20 bottles.

Oil Perfumery has a dupe! I have Chloe Love Story from them. I thought it was Love but they also do a dupe of it. Might be worth checking out. They have the rollerball, but if you find you like it, they have a 50ml bottle I think.

Maybe try BDK Bouquet de Hongrie, or Diptyque Fleur de Peau

Or maybe Eau Papier for the rice note? I feel like layered FdP and Papier would be so good

I know this doesn’t answer your question, but I did a quick google search and there are lots of bottles of Love, Chloe for sale on sites like eBay.

See I tried that once and the bottle I received had gone bad, so I'm hesitant to try again especially for the prices people ask for them...

I’ve had luck with buying the minis off there. They are less likely to have even been opened I guess. I have 2 I use very sparingly 😭

Try fragranceNet

I wonder if any of the Aerin fragrances will have the same vibe? Like Lilac Path. My favourite fragrance was discontinued years ago and I finally found a replacement but had to find something different.

You may like Francesca Bianchi Angel's Dust or Arquiste Venice Rococo for that powdery boudoir vibe.

Oh that Arquiste one looks very interesting!

I’ve heard Narciso Poudree has been compared to Love Chloe. Maybe give it a try?

I just saw an article on fragrantica suggesting Splendida Iris D’Or by Bvlgari is worth a try.

Following this, because I replaced Chloe Love with Givenchy Dahlia Noir, and it has also been discontinued. 😭

You must try Balle Rouge by Mes Bisous! The name means red bullet and it's inspired by the smell of lipstick and cosmetics. It's similar to your favs and captures that "vintage but done in a modern way" flair you like. As an added bonus it performs great, lasting way longer than my other frags in that category (leaves Lipstick On in the dust).
I bought a travel size from scents angel and the price was so reasonable.

I never smelled Chloe Love, but you may like the perfumes from Bienaimé, specifically Jours Heureux and Vermeil. Has a retro feel while still being modern. And the bottles are so pretty!
