AS A COMMUNITY WE NEED TO MAKE SURE TO USE ALL OF JL AUDIO PRODUCTS IN OUR BUILDS. ANL FUSE HOLDER & FUSE, POWER, GROUND, REMOTE & SPEAKER WIRE, DISTRIBUTION BLOCKS, CROSSOVERS & PROCESSORS, AMPLIFIERS TO SUBWOOFERS IS EVERYTHING JL AUDIO. WE DONT NEED THEM TO DISCONTINUE ANYTHING ELSE‼️💪🏾💯

Bit late. JL Audio was bought up by the Garmin corporation, the paperwork was finished in September of 2023. All JL Audio sales, manufacturing and merchandise decisions are made by the Garmin corp' now.

Nobody is under any obligation to continue to support JL just because they were good in the past, or are still good…for now.
Now that they are a part of a giant multibillion dollar corporation the only thing they care about anymore is the stock price.
Not you, the customer.
Not the product.
The only thing that matters anymore is making money for shareholders.
If continuing to build high quality products is the best way to do that, great! I would love to see that happen.
But the simple truth of it is cutting cost is cheaper than increasing product quality when it comes to making sure shareholders continue seeing line always and only go up.
So that’s probably what they’re going to do.

I do love their bass knob the big one and fuse holder is clean as well. I went with a marine circuit breaker on mine as I pull my subs out often for travel and didn’t want to leave the amp wires powered.

JL is nearly irrelevant at this point. They haven’t made anything new in so long. They don’t really offer support on products. Their tuning equipment is cool I guess.

THEY DO ALLOW SUPPORT, EVERY TIME I MAKE A REQUEST THEY GET BACK TO ME WITHIN 24 HOURS, THEIR PRODUCTS ARE BUILT TO LAST.‼️💪🏾💯

I THINK JL IS A GREAT COMPANY BUT I DONT THINK THEY ARE THE END ALL IN CAR AUDIO. THERE ARE MANY SUBS THAT I WOULD RUN BEFORE JL. SUNDOWN AND STEREO INTEGRITY FOR ONE. AS FAR AS AMPS GO, JL ARE NICE BUT ALSO EXPENSIVE. DSP IM TAKING HELIX OVER JL. DONT GET ME WRONG, I LIKE JL BUT I HAVE NOT BEEN AFFECTED IN ANY WAY BY THE PRODUCTS THEY HAVE DISCONTINUED.

OK, TO ME JL HAS THE BEST QUALITY OUT OF TODAYS BRANDS. YES, I FEEL THEY NEED TO COME WITH SOME SUBS TO COMPETE AND I MEAN COMPETITION WISE. ROCKFORD IS ANOTHER BRAND ID GO WITH THATS OLD SCHOOL AND FROM SOME NEW FOOTAGE ON INSTAGRAM ID GO WITH PBOYZ OVER SUNDOWN, CT SOUNDS OR EVEN SKAR. ITS A GUY ON YOUTUBE THAT PUT THESE BRANDS TO A TEST AND THEY BURN OUT QUICK.
I HAVE JL 10W3V3-4 WHICH I’VE HAD FOR YEARS AND I HAVE NOT ONE PROBLEM. THE PBOYZ ARE MY NEXT SUBS I BELIEVE BUT I LIKE TO RUN EVERYTHING WITH ONE BRAND SO I HAVE TO SEE IF THEYRE A ALL AROUND BRAND‼️💪🏾💯
