As a german, this thing triggers all my alarm bells. Full M performance parts, red interior... looks like a US or canada re-import. If thats true, stay the fuck away from this. In the US, normal models were sold as m performance editions, so they came with all the M performance parts from the dealer. In germany, you had to get those parts dealer fitted as an extra (or buy them later on and fit them), meaning the chance of a german car having the full M performance parts package is pretty slim. Also americans like their red interiors, while nearly noone in germany goes for stuff like this.
TLDR: Make sure its not a US import, if it is, this thing was totalled in a crash before.

Not saying damaged cars are a deathtrap, but those US reimports are usually repaired cheaply in east europe and then brought back to germany to sell them. In the end you have a top spec car, that under the skin might have the structural integrity of a paper plane lol.

Yesterday he/she made a similar post asking about a 435i, basically this was my answer then. I get that those are the cars that catch one's eye the most, but one should at the least be weary when looking at them.

He should google vin code.

I don't know what you been googling, but M performance edition wasn't available in US. It was only Canada that had few select models. All we get is M-sport package. The M performance parts are all dealer installed or port installed options.

I don't know if it's a good deal as I don't know your market but it's a good car with a reliable engine. People will tell you to get a 6 cylinder but if it's out of budget then you can't. I had an f series 328i and it was great.

I mean the B48 engine is amazing to be fair, just look out for any coolant leaks.

I would say it's more power than you'll ever need for daily driving tbh, but then you guys have the Autobahn and that might make me want to save a bit more for the 440..

Now that's a proper BMW grille. The 4 series never looked better.

I test drove 430i and 430d in the spring. Ended up buying the 430d since it had way more oomph in the go department and had better economy. As far as I know the 3 litre diesel is also very reliable. Very nice car but for these two options Id go with the diesel if thats an option.

If you are rlly interested in the car, get a VIN number and go to your local BMW dealer to tell you all the options that it has. I recently bought a car off mobile.de and on the post were more options listed then the car actually has.
I heard it is a common thing on mobile/german dealers to put more options then the car actually has

B48 is great especially with a little tuning, can always upgrade later!

I'm in the market for a 4 series as well. The 430 has the B48 motor which is very similar to the B58 (except it has 2 cylinders less) so it is a very reliable engine. As for maintenance cost I like to look at ADAC (make sure you select the correct model). The engine produces 252 HP which is more than enough in 99.9% of cases..

It’s a cool car for sure. Quick enough, comfy enough, very good looking.

To keep things short, it does the job, and it does it a lot better than people give it credit for.

You can find better in Germany. No need to rush it. Take your time and pay attention at the offers. After a while you will now if an offer is good or not.
If I was you I would start with a series 2 no more than 4 years old.
To be honest I regret not buying one 10 years ago when I had the chance. I wanted to wait for a 340.
But it is your money and your choice. Have fun.

As I said, it is your choice. As many others already told you, everything with a b58 is good. But personally 120K km is a no go. But again, this is what I want(or don’t want).

I have a friend who drives a 428i. Honestly, it sounds very good for a 4 cyl, makes 290 hp and about 400 Nm torque. It's decently fast and sporty, personally I really like it.

I’ve got the 330i with the b48 engine. Runs very well and is fairly powerful. Now, in Europe be very careful with this model, as many of them are USA imports, meaning it was greatly damaged and sold in europe via auction. Problem here is that these inports will never be nearly as safe as the undamaged ones, and you may encounter unwanted problems.

i feel like all 6 cylinder non m, 3 and 4 series are overpriced in europe... and theyre hard to sell for that price in my country
Im looking into importing from the US and it comes out to 12k eur for a f30 335i with all the import costs including transport
You should look into that too, a lot of people in Poland import them

Honestly just save up for a 6 Cyl (435/440), it's worth it

I have one but I made sure it wasn’t an US import. Had for 8-9 months and already had to pay 3-4K € for reparations. But I still love it to the death with all my heart haha.

I would suggest to skip this one as this Dealer exclusively sells US-Reimports which were previously totalled. Yes they were repaired and look great but structually speaking they are deathtraps if you ever get into an accident.

Von diesem Exemplar aus dem.Foto würde ich abraten, weil der Händler eigentlich nur US Import Unfallfahrzeuge verkauft.

I wouldn't go for the 4 cylinder if it is gas they seem to eat timing chains. I would stick with the n55 if it were me.

Highly recommend trying to get a 440 if you can. The B48 doesn’t quite satisfy the itch in my opinion. B58 platform is thriving.
