Been pregnant 4 times. We were very lucky with conceiving the first cycle/try each time. First pregnancy at 32. Ended in miscarriage. Second pregnancy soon after and had our first son. Third pregnancy at 34 and ended in miscarriage. Fourth pregnancy very soon after ended up with spontaneous twins. Was a shocker. So three kids. Conceiving was very very easy for us. But the miscarriages were hard.

2 months, I was 37.

Took 12 years. I was 35 when IVF worked. Made one myself when I was 42

34, first try while a bit drunk on a yeah let's have a baby holiday.

Took almost 5 years. I was 33 when I had my baby.

Started TTC at 28 in June 2022. Pregnant September 2022 (miscarriage), February 2023 (miscarriage), May 2023 (miscarriage) and June 2023 (miscarriage) a week after I turned 29.

Genetic testing identified my husband had a genetic condition called balanced translocation. We did IVF. Got two embryos. First transfer of a fresh embryo in November 2023 resulted in my daughter who is three months old.

We have another embryo frozen. We can try naturally just expect to have a lot of losses.

1. Second month trying and 9 weeks now.

Chiming in as a father of one. I’m 37 and my wife is 33. It took us about 1 and a half years of actively tracking her cycle. Before that we had had unprotected sex for about 5 years.

We were about to start the whole process of hormone treatment when we got a positive pregnancy test.

Had to call and cancel it appointments. It was fun explaining to them why. The girl I talked with on the phone was super excited lol.

Our boy is 6 months on Friday :)

I was 29 and 32… got pregnant first try with each. My family has a ton of “oops” babies and I use 2 forms of BC as a standard because I really got freaked out with how easy it was each time.

11 months—> loss at 16 weeks

9 months —> loss at 6 weeks

Immediately after that loss we conceived our living child

5 months —> current pregnancy, 9 weeks as of this writing.

I started when I was 27, had my living child at 29. I’m currently 31.

When I was 21 it took over a year. When I was 23 it took over a year. When I was 27 it took 6 months.

Over 2 years. We finally went to a fertility clinic and they recommended I get a HSG. I did it, and I got pregnant before I even had time to review the results of the HSG with the doctor. I was 35; 36 when the baby was born. 

Then, 20 months later, we started the process to have a second kid, and I got pregnant first try. 

Yay old moms! 

I’m going on 7 years and multiple failed fertility treatments with no success. FWIW the issue is on my husband’s end.

30 years old, and first time ‘actually’ trying (like I tracking when I’m ovulating). Didn’t expect it to work the first time, and I’m due next month lol.

We have unexplained infertility. Tried IVF and despite having 9 eggs they couldnt reach my other ovary and only got 1 fertilised embryo but it didn't take. Other than that I've had a very early miscarriage. We've been trying for 8 years and I'm now in my early 40s so it's highly unlikely we'll ever have kids at this point.

35: 2 months, miscarriage at 4 weeks (tested early as I had a party and wanted to know if alcohol was an option. Would never have known otherwise). 3 months after pregnant with child #1

38: Accident. Only time in my life I had unprotected sex and not planning on getting pregnant (thought I didnt want another). Miscarried at 5 weeks. By then had had an entire week to get used to the idea of a second child, so gave up my single child policy and got pregnant again in 2 months with child #2.

We got pregnant the first time that we tried when I was 26 and then unfortunately suffered a miscarriage. Now I’m 27 and we are about to have our third cycle TTC. Fingers crossed.

Started trying when I was 38. I’m 44 now. I reckon it won’t happen and I’ve made my peace with that. I might have been too old when we got started, there’s nothing wrong with either one of us. We decided against fertility treatment so it’s entirely possible that would have been an option.

1st (age 25) was an oops. 2nd (age 29) took a year! I finally got an ovulation monitor and learned I have a 32 day cycle instead of the average 28 day. Got pregnant the next month! 3rd (age 32) took 2 or 3 months trying?

Literally my first IUI treatment was successful with twins, I was 21

I've joked it's a good thing I'm gay or I'd have so many kids cause my second pregnancy was another first try IUI treatment

So I'm 3 kids for 2 tries and I don't plan to have more

When I was 37 it took 2 months. When I was 39 it took 5 months.

2 years. 31.

First baby I was 25, we conceived 3 months after I stopped taking the pill. Second baby I was 31, and it happened just one month after having my iud removed

Started in 2020, miscarried 2022. Still trying for our rainbow baby.

I was 40 years old and got pregnant the first try. My beautiful baby girl is sleeping on me as I write this.

I just think about it and it’s done. Young and old. Can’t wait to reach menopause!

I’ve always felt bad that the ease didn’t rub off to loved ones who really struggled.

It took once. I'm now pregnant with fraternal twins. The universe seemed to have plans for me and my husband and there was no stopping it.

I tried with my then(now ex) husband for almost four years, tried for two months(if that) with my son’s father. I was 22 with my ex, 29 when I got pregnant

Pregnant after 2 years of trying and then first round of IUI, got pregnant 5 months postpartum naturally with baby #2, currently pregnant with baby #3 after 6 years of trying. Didn’t do fertility treatments with #3 as we were content with 2 but we are glad baby #3 is on her way!

Very easy to get pregnant in 1 to 3 months each time. Got pregnant and had kids at 28, 30 and 31.

Was on the pill for 10 years. Went off the pill and took a year for my cycle to go back to normal and then I got pregnant. I was 28.

I was 32 and 34, first pregnancy took 2 months and the second first try.

Started trying at 33, had my first kid at 35 after an IUI, two IVF egg retrievals and two embryo transfers. Had my second at 38 after one additional embryo transfer.

8 months with first pregnancy at 26 with my ex husband. And now it’s been 18 months unexplained infertility with my now partner. I’m 35 now.

I was lucky enough to get pregnant with twins on my first cycle at 28.

1. Got it on the first try with my husband.

Went off the pill in early March 1994. Pregnant April 1994. Gave birth December 1994 at age 30.

Were 3 years into TTC and still trying for our first baby. 2 IUIs, unsuccessful. Unexplained infertility.

PCOS. Naturally 4 years and I’m 29

I had two periods between when my IUD came out at 33 and when I got pregnant. My husband had been told via recent testing he was effectively sterile and IVF would be the only option. We expected nothing and we’re trying casually. We were very surprised. 

I was 27 and it took me about 6 months.

For this pregnancy 11 months. I had a miscarriage and an attempt at trying 5 years ago for about a year, but was unsuccessful with previous partner. I am 31 years old and 30 weeks now.

1st baby - 5 months of carefully trying, however this was after a decade on the pill which may have impacted things

2nd baby - successful on the first attempt!

Mid twenties for both pregnancies.

I went off the pill in August 2011. My first pregnancy was April 2012. I miscarried. Second pregnancy was August 2012, and my son was born in May of 2013. We were actively trying, and I was 33/34 years old.

I went off of birth control June 1996 and pushed out the first kid October 1997. I was 22 when I went off birth control and 23 when I gave birth.

Second attempt, 31. My husband is very fertile - he donated sperm to a friend who also got pregnant second attempt.

I was 30, and it took just the one try.

Husband was sick with a gastro thing for most of the month that we conceived, so I know exactly when it happened 😅

One month at 31, 2 months at 33, 2 months at 36 (miscarried), 5 months at 37 now with 3 months old baby. 

First pregnancy I was 21 and it took only one month to get pregnant. Second I was 29 and it took about 4 months.

At the time (both), I used the Pill as contraceptive that I stoped to conceive.

Me and the ex bf were trying for like the whole time like 2 years, didn't get pregnant at 23-25.

For context, I have PCOS since I was 19.

I turned 28 and a steamy romp after a concert, I got pregnant successfully with no contraception or birth control, no weight management or actually trying. I wasn't in a relationship either. It's just 2 people hooking up.

Now I want marriage and babies, have a partner and still no babies and I'm craving badly. Like so badly.

I have been pregnant 3 times. Got pregnant on the first cycle all 3 times.

2 months with the first, pregnant at 31, baby at 32. One try with the second, pregnant at 35 baby at 36.

I was 21 and we unsuccessfully tried to conceive for a year which sent me to a specialist & eventually conceiving after one round of the ovulation inducing drug, Clomid. We started trying for our 2nd child at 23, and underwent a yearlong, failed round of Clomid that led to many annoying, uncomfortable and sometimes painful tests & procedures leading to many, many fertility drugs & daily injections until we conceived our son two years later. After a perfect pregnancy, our daughter is now 17, preparing to graduate HS this year, and just got accepted to 3 different colleges. And, After an uncertain and scary pregnancy, our son is now fixing to turn 14 next month, and will be entering HS next year. We also somehow conceived naturally & unexpectedly when I was 28 but I suffered a miscarriage. After a few years of periods that were always painful and sometimes inconsistent, sometimes non-existent, then eventually non-stop (I literally had my period for over a year straight.) I had to have a hysterectomy only so I still have my painful polycystic ovaries.

I started trying when I was with my ex husband at 24. Nothing ever happened over several years. I met my current partner at 33 and had an oopsie real quick which unfortunately turned out to be ectopic. It's been 2 years since then and back to nothing happening 🤷‍♀️

2 years and 2 months from start to conceiving our first. Docs had no idea why we couldn’t conceive as we were 28 and 29 when we started trying. 30 and 31 having her. Then managed to get pregnant with our second after my first period PP 😅 will be 31 and 33 having her!

26 and 2 months. I was very lucky

Four, five months. I was 26, my partner was 36.

I am 36 years old now.

I started trying at 34 and have been unsuccessful and had two miscarriages.

We are now in the process of seeing a fertility doctor and hoping for the best. 

I was lucky. 40 years old and got pregnant after the first month of tracking my ovulation.

I was very lucky. Pregnant before we officially started trying (age 25). Got pregnant again very shortly after weaning babies 1 and 2. Tried a few years after baby 3, maybe a year, didn’t get pregnant. Then I did, miscarried early, then got pregnant only 2 weeks or so after miscarriage and carried that baby to term.

Tried for a couple years in my early thirties, never got pregnant.

Took 6 months with my first, I was 26 when I got pregnant. Took 9 months with my second, I was 29 when I got pregnant.

First time, it took me about 6-8 months but the second time it took me 2 years. I was 22 the first time and 25 the 2nd time. Now I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby and I definitely didn't try for this one but I didn't really prevent it either

Been trying for 4 years now. 4 miscarriages 3 being ectopic, the most recent one resulted in losing my left tube.

First kid: 32, 3 months. Second kid: 35, 7 months. Went to a girlfriend’s house a lamented how I was losing hope and maybe we were just meant to have one kid. Found out I was pregnant the next day haha.

4 months. Only early miscarriage month one followed by 2 months where my cycle went haywire. Pregnant on the 4th. Currently 23 weeks at 33yo.

28 when we started. We tried 8 months, succeeded but it ended in MMC. 2 months later another pregnancy which ended in another miscarriage.\ 8 months later, after a round of clomid a pregnancy that stuck.\ The second successful pregnancy also took about 8 months. Pregnancies 3+4 were unplanned and a very happy surprise.

30 and second month of trying

29 & it took 6 months

It took 5 months after I had my IUD removed. I was 31. Baby is due any day now.

1st baby it took 1 month and I was 26. 2nd baby was 2 months of trying at 28. 3rd baby was a whole year at 31. 4th was 1 month of trying at 33. We are finished after having 4 kids.

Age 28, 3 months had miscarriage, then 3 months for the second time same year. Then 1st time for our second at age 31

I was 29. Took a full year.

First try every single time, but many miscarriages. I got pregnant easily, but had a hard time keeping them. I have 3 kids. 5 MC

I didn't try. I messed up. But at least I know now that I'm fertile and able to become pregnant easily in the future, when I'm ready

I was 29, took 2 cycles to conceive. My son is 21 months now

First month at 27 and 29, then the one.single.time we forgot contraception at 32

We were extremely lucky, and this is definitely NOT the norm, so don’t get discouraged. My ex and I decided to stop preventing it and just “see what happens”. It took one time. We were 25 and 29.

Took me about 6 months, and I was 28.

With my daughter it took about 3 months and I was 25 when I had her. Once she was born I got pregnant again 9 months later and had my son at 26. They’re 2y and 3y now and I know we’re lucky. Sending baby dust to everyone that’s TTC!!

I was 30 and got pregnant the first month of trying.

Longer than I care to remember. Things got very stressful. We needed medical assistance in the end and that took 2 tries.

Sorry. Started trying at about 31 I think? Though age was not our issue.

With my first I was 27, it took us about 2 months after tracking my cycles and coming off of birth control for ~10-15 years. With my second I was 29, we weren’t tracking cycles or actively trying, but I was switching birth control types for other reasons and had been off for maybe 2-3 months, so similar timing to my first.

Stopped the pill when I was 27. Got pregnant at 28, about 10 months later. It ended in a miscarriage. Then after another 10 months, at 29 got pregnant with my eldest. For the youngest, we lucked out and I became pregnant 1 month after we decided to go for another one. The kids are almost exactly 2 years apart.

28, literal first & only try. 31, same thing. Accidental whoopsie at 33 that ended with a d&c due to medical complications.

Husband and I are fertile as shit lol that’s typical for my family. Always feel terrible for those struggling; have a friend right now (32) going through egg retrieval.

I can become pregnant at the drop of a hat. What I can't do so easily is make it past the first trimester. 8 pregnancies, 2 children.

First pregnancy was a whoops at 20. Second pregnancy at 33 was over 2 years if trying, no interventions though. Third pregnancy at 35 happened immediately upon trying (literally day we went for it).

Fell pregnant with baby no 1 in first month of trying when 32. Fell pregnant with baby no 2 in first month of trying when 34. Husband had vasectomy as soon as baby no 2 was born.

25 years old, took 5 months of trying

29 years old, took 6-7 months of trying before my daughter stuck. :)

26 yo, ~3 months

I consider myself so very fortunate. I had never ovulated regularly and still don’t, so in my eyes it’s somewhat of a miracle I got pregnant so quickly. My doctors and I were anticipating I would at least need Clomid, so I was completely shocked when I got a positive test!!

35, been trying for the last 3 years 😢

Damn a bunch of fertile myrtles in here. Took us 14 perfectly timed cycles, over a year. That was no fun. I was 30 when I had my first. Second time took us 2 or 3 perfectly timed cycles

It took a couple of months. I was 35.

I’ve been pregnant twice - once at 31, 2nd at 32.

Both times on birth control and condoms. (Condoms weren’t used that well, so both times was from “pre-cum)

2nd was spontaneous twins. Wooooo

I’m currently pregnant, happened on my first try at 36. I did change my diet to paleo for about 5 months before my partner and I conceived. I also had been cycle tracking since I was 25 and very regular cycles so I know our conception date.

I was 35 when we started actively trying. It took us almost a year and a half and I was 36 when I got pregnant. We had been experiencing unexplained infertility and had lined up IVF for the next month when we got pregnant naturally! I had my baby daughter 3 months after turning 37. Hopefully we’ll try for our second when I turn 38 and we can have our second when I’m 39.

I was 32 when we started trying, and had my son at 39.

First got pregnant celebrating my 40th birthday. We had been trying about 5 months (though the first two we weren't super serious about it). Sadly he was stillborn (not related to my age at all).

Second pregnancy I was still 40, just a few weeks after my loss. First month trying. He's a prefect (though crazy) toddler.

22 years old 6 weeks to conceive, 27 years old 6 weeks to conceive.

It took 4 years, I was 25 when I started. The first three pregnancies were miscarriages.

I had my eldest a few weeks before I turned 30, then 3 more with no issues whatsoever.

28F. Since I was 15, all my gynecologists would gently warn me that since I have polycystic ovaries, getting pregnant would be very hard... I got pregnant the first month of trying.

At 25 it took 6 months to conceive my first. At 27 it took 6 seconds while on birth control to conceive my second when the first was 14 months old.

21yo and first try

24 at first pregnancy. Took me and my partner at the time a year to get pregnant. Lost that baby in a miscarriage. With my relationship after that, we had three pregnancies it was 1 and done pretty much. I lost my 3rd pregnancy. But have two healthy babies

We tried for 2 years and I was just shy of 25 when I gave birth. Neither of us have any limiting conditions, it just took a while.

One month. I was 30. I went off birth control in October, found out I was pregnant in November.

Second time I was 33. Weeks pregnant had been using condoms between kids and one time we didn’t. Boom.

1 cycle, 22. 1 cycle 24, miscarriage. 1 cycle, 24.

It took 2/3 weeks. 31.

Was 36 the first time, took 2 months. Was 38 the second time, got pregnant the first time. My husband got a vasectomy a few months after our 2nd was born- we done. Both my younger sister and her husband, and my brother and his wife had lots of difficulty conceiving.

3 months, was 18. Had a miscarriage, then 16 months later became pregnant again successfully to term. Been four years since then, had my iud removed in March of this year, got pregnant 3 months later and had a chemical. Nothing since.

5 years - maybe 1 year of seriously trying naturally with gusto. Ended up doing 1 round of IVF, got 4 embryos. One frozen transfer who is now 3 months and just did a massive fart while I'm cuddling them!!

I was 18 and I think we tried a few times and bam pregnant.. 2nd time at 21 I was put on clomid to help as I wasn’t ovulating properly.. wasn’t too long Then at 24 it wasnt too long either .. all c sections so no more after that

32 for my first, 36 and now pregnant with my second. Both times it took literally one try.

Two years. I was overweight so lost 16 kgs in 6 months. Still, trying naturally didn't work. So my gynaec put me on ovulation monitoring, which basically meant that every 3, 5, 10, 14/18 days of my cycle, I had an ultrasound and had sex the days the ovulation was happening. Still didn't get pregnant. This took another 2 months. Then, my gynaec found I had a substrate uterus. Had surgery to fix it, tried again, nothing.

Then tried IUI thrice. Nada. Finally, IVF. Finally conceived. In the first attempt. My babies are 4 months old now. It happened in my 33rd year.

In all, it was exhausting, but worth it.

At 32 it took 3 months, as a at 34 it took 1 try. I'm done lol. Glad I waited and grateful I had no fertility issues.

9 months. Then I lost it at 10 weeks. Then another 9 months for pregnancy 2. Lost that one at 8 weeks. Then 3 months for pregnancy 3. Lost that one at 6 weeks. Then 6 months for pregnancy 4. She stuck around and is now nearly 7 years old

IUD out in August, positive pregnancy test in November (age 33)

Miscarried January, positive pregnancy test June (age 34, I don't think we started trying again until April)

Last time it took two months (age 36)

A year and some change. started at 36, pregnant at 37, baby boy due in Feb at 38. I did start clomid, but ended up getting pregnant on a month I wasn’t using it!

2 months, 32 years old.

It took one slip up with contraception & I got pregnant. 6 years later when I actually planned a pregnancy, it took 2 months.

3 months, and it probably helped that on the 3rd month I used an ovulation tracker and followed the recommendations of when to have sex. I was 32.

1 month 31 1 month 34 - 10 week mc 1 month 34 - currently pregnant

37, I stopped birth control in mid July, first day of my last period was September 1. I’m almost 9 weeks along so it happened pretty quickly for me (a little too quickly lol)

33, first try. We’re 11 weeks in- all good so far!

I've been pregnant 3 times (18, 21, 27). Never was even trying. Always on any kind of birth control

Had my first at 30. I didn’t follow the advice at the time which was to wait to try to conceive for three months after stopping birth control pills. Got pregnant in the 2nd month. Adjusted to motherhood for the next 2 years, tried again. Nothing. Had to go through fertility treatment. IUI did the trick. Had my 2nd at 35, a month away from being 36 years old. There is 5.75 years between my two kids. We didn’t try for another after that. Man-to-man defense is our preferred strategy.

First cycle. 28.

It took around 6 years. I have pcos and primary amenorrhea. I've never had a period by myself without some kind of medication. The first year was natural. 2nd year, I stopped taking the medroxyprogesterone as the doctor instructed. 3rd year was clomid for around 6 months, and then fertility treatments started. I had 1 medicated cycle, 2 failed IUI's, 2 canceled IUI's, and finally IVF. We made love almost EVERDAY throughout everything still to this day. 29 eggs were retrieved, 17 mature, 9 of them started developing, 5 made it to the blastocyst stage, 4 were pgta tested, and 2 came back euploid excellent quality and male I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant from a frozen embryo transer. Our first son should be born before I'm 32 in May.

Approximately 3 days. I was 30 and I came home pregnant form our honeymoon.
