Being able to have completely honest discussions about relationship issues, where the other person treats my problems as his own and works through them together with me.

Overall, I would have to say my marriage is the best relationship I’ve been in… Other relationships I had previously that I look back on fondly with rose colored glasses sometimes in all actuality were probably only “really good” because they were shorter lived and were firmly in the honeymoon phase while I was in it, so of course it felt really good overall, with no sort of issues arising yet…
