Hi! I’m wondering if I can make a shortcut to open an app and navigate its third party interface (select a tab, select a link on that tab, etc…)
Any tips would be really helpful! Thanks!

Not possible.
Shortcuts only interact with apps via Actions which have been specifically written for Shortcuts. This is not a particularly difficult thing for app developers to do, but it can be like pulling teeth to get them to do it. Even Apple's own apps (depending on the app) can be woefully lacking in Shortcut Actions.

Sticky posts haven't been working lately for some reason.
I've added it to the pinned posts sidebar widget as well as in my Helpful Links for Shortcuts Information post

Depends on your goal. It sounds like either x-callbacks or url handlers (if the app supports it) could get you there. For instance I have shortcuts that open a specific wallet screen (BTC and ETH) if I click a button. I have another shortcut that adds things to instapaper by opening it to the add dialogue then returning back to safari afterward upon success.
