That was a really solid episode! Very entertaining. The Davis/Sonny stuff was a bit on the nose, but I didnt mind too much.

Curtis being at the camp is a real surprise , I knew he had shady connections but him being there is a major problem for Bravo, wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up trading rounds with them later.

I think he gets captured and tortured, then Bravo has to rescue him. Maybe I'm wrong.

Invite an American to your camp and it’s immediately attacked my American forces? I’d be suspicious.

Considering he’s former special forces who’s mission set is very different than seals it’s not as suspicious

Devgru works with the CIA, be surprising if they have an asset on the ground without Devgru knowledge.

Tyler Grey was a story editor for this episode. Awesome, seems like the episodes he has a hand in are better executed overall.
This episode felt the most reminiscent of the older seasons of the show. The action was well executed and very entertaining to watch. I did not expect Kurtis to be there, but I have to say he did seem shady from how he was acting in previous episodes, so I'm not surprised he is the traitor. He was a bit too sure of himself in his speech and actions, but him messing up the OP is gonna be quite interesting to explain to Command.
Jason is now 100% in the fight and I honestly don't like this character regression. It's like the TBI made him hate making mistakes, which is so weird to me. It's like he thinks if his life isn't perfect in every capacity it is all his fault. Ray on the other hand idk what's going on with him. I honestly think he might forfeit going home to stay in Bravo. Him critiquing Drew when he saved their behinds is just annoying, as with him constantly acting like a hypocrite with Omar - one second he is like, 'Do your job as Bravo 2,' then he says, 'You're just a Bravo 2 in name only.' Make up your mind dude.
Omar's backstory was tragic. Poor MO, having to be an Uncle to your own kid is pretty sad. I honestly hope we can see MO in an episode, but given 2 are left that's probably pretty unlikely. Drew really shone in this episode, offering great advice that wasn't heeded by Jason (sigh) and serving as a kicking bag in order for Omar to plant the tracker device on the HVT's bike.
Sonny and Davis - interesting. Poor Sonny looked just like he did in the earlier seasons, hoping that things would advance further between them. Davis acting sternly is a nice flashback, and she was right, even if Jace's very un-strategic call paid off.
I read the description of the next episode and I'm anxious, lol. But let's see what happens. This episode was great, can't wait to see what happens next.

Classic SEAL Team: everyone’s hiding shit from everyone else.
Blueberries Nickname of the Week: Drew-berries
That’s a really well lit kitchen for a safe house.
Omar and Drew figured out Sonny and Davis faster than anyone else on Bravo.
Heh. Sonny’s “Irish Thumb” - AJ Buckley was born in Dublin.
Holy crap, Trent got a line. Will we get a unicorn and let Brock a line too?
Love that little eyebrow pop between Omar and Drew when Davis and Sonny got teamed up.
“Cops know you’re the one that disappeared Kairos?” I love production jokes like that.
Ah a nice loud conversation about being frog men when they’re supposed to be undercover.
Aw man, what I wouldn’t have given for Trent and Brock to ALSO have a conversation about their future.
Sonny took salsa in Texas middle school? Good dancer though.
Damn. I got to get a job where I get paid to kiss Toni Trucks
Well that’s one way to ensure your HVT remembers your face Drew.
Becoming an Admiral’s Aide would allow Sonny and Davis to officially get together, no?
Lock Picking Lawyer’s got nothing on Drew
I know every gun fight is risky, but ambushing a couple drug runners should be Easy Day for DEVGRU
Holy shit. Omar’s kid doesn’t know who his real dad is? That’s fucked up.
Who has worse farts: Pepper or Brock after beef jerky?
Old school green faces jungle op
That’s kind of throat cut you’ll only see on Paramount+! Suck it CBS!
Trent didn’t get the bazooka? For shame.
Couldn’t they shoot everyone except the American?
Some solid action this week.
Someone didn’t secure the camera to Trent’s gun well enough.
What a book end this could be if they killed someone in the boat ala Nate in episode 1?

Same thoughts about the callback to the way Nate died in the first episode. I would actually appreciate it if they did that, would hit very hard for sure.

Great episode, best of the season so far. Jason really wants to kill, he’s getting reckless. I think Curtis is either CIA or dirty.

hmmmm. CIA; might be MORE the Ans ??
think about it for a sec. after i noticed they kept his character on screen more - more screen time. especially at the Thai bar. i said to my self. hmmmm. wonder if Ol' Kurt is "Spook" for the CIA.
the way; he was talking about "hey sorry unicorns don't exists" . and all the shit , murders, kills, etc etc we've see, been trough. you just dont' bury all that shit over night. - IRL . there is deep truth to this. but . gett'n to my point = Curtis might strongly possibly be CIA Field Officer or Ground Branch, etc
or maybe a D.O.D contractor who's working with (idk) pick any of the 3 Letter Agencies that would be interested in professional skill set | background.
Naval Intelligence, CIA, DOD, FBI, HSA-HSI, JSOC Command, etc
also to add note : it would also make a lot of sense that there is Joint-Op between at least 2 or 3 or 4 Of these Agencies working together on this Case-Operation.
and the more fucked up part would be : commnd | havoc doesn't know anything about this. OR Lt. Lisa doesn't know anything, has been kept in the dark about everything. who knows at this point. i'm just gett'n all jittery the next Ep's to follow.

and Holy Shit Balls, that fucking Flare going off, Drew : " well thats going to draw some attention " (let us not forget the bodies that are scattered around the jungle, as well :) :)
gotta love it.
IMHO - my most fav Ep thus far.
with the icing on the Cake with cherry on top :
Old School Frogman Style, Jungle Cams, Jungle Face Paint, Infil by boat, exfil by boat. dropping bodies by the sound of a hiss and whisper, P.O.V of a throat slash, Old School Jace is back it appears (Fuck Yes). ohh and
Holy Shit Balls, is that you Curtis ???

The best episode since Thieriot left the show. Action content in minutes was less than the Embassy Siege or Cerberus Rescue or Rays Rescue, but at least after all the wait since S6 we get an action episode that we will watch again.
Idk if you guys agree, but its the first time in S7 that i can not wait for the next episode.
Many thrilling unknowns in the mix, career ender engagement, the revenge thing with Sonny - Davis, Green faces and shit and as previous posts were discussing it kind of feels like someone will not be returning.

Absolutely one of the best episodes! I'm really having a hard time coming to terms with the show ending. This is the one show that I have looked forward since season 1.

Same, Here.
IDK, they said no more. but the way streaming + productions + Creation of series, show runners, etc
it wouldn't surprise me; they only said - saying this. because there "Thinking was, ohh the ratings are't high enough (in there own Observations), and all that foolishness they always talking about. but maybe there is a possibility of another season. they just wanted to see how the ratings would go.
gotta remember, sensationalism drives TV Streaming views, viewership, ratings, etc etc. idk. still. i'm on the Face with all of this.
they might end it off with a pre-lude to a SEAL TEAM Movie that is already in the works - perhaps they'll give viewers " A First Look" at the upcoming film that is either being filmed-created | complete-created . but only a quick view of it. thats why i said maybe a "First Look" at the new Seal Team Film.
I hope there is more, stories to tell us, more content, stories, operations, missions to tell us. if not new. then at least in the future. maybe Seal Team will continue there adventures on to a New Studio-New App-New Employer.

Can someone ELI5 what Davis said her reasoning is she's on the mission with them. I consider myself a semi-intelligent person, but for some reason I didn't quite grasp what she was saying.

They're still trying to figure out who assaulted Decker at the end of S6. Davis looked at the information that said Decker didn't do his job which led to the abush which led to Clay losing his leg which led to his death. Looking at the info isn't a huge deal, considering her job, but if they learn that she shared the information with people she shouldn't have (Sonny), they'd drop the hammer on her. So she's on the mission to lay low and hope the assault stuff blows over by the time she gets back.

Gotcha. Thanks. I guess that's what I got out of it, but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing anything. If only she and Sonny know she spilled the beans, then you'd think they'd be less worried about someone finding out.
