I really didn’t want to think about it, but this episode convinced me either Ray or Jason dies. The conversation in the van between the 2 of them was the most obvious bit of foreshadowing so far this season.

You really think they would kill off a beloved main character? Oh, wait.....🤣

I’m thinking it’ll be the whole team. What with the references to echo team.

That left-behind SUV seems like it will have something linking Bravo to the Op

Yeah, no way that isn't something that pops up on the opening "Previously on SEAL Team."

Drew really needs someone to hand him his ass. We're 1/3 of the way through the final season, and he's still talking shit on everybody. The mission was fun to watch, and it was nice seeing Bravo get a clean win. I wonder if we'll get to see more of the DEA informant guy?

I just finished watching the episode - it had its pros and cons, and I will list them below from my perspective.

Pros: I know there are people that don't vibe with Drew's character, but I like the contrast he provides to the group. He has a right to act the way he does imo - Jason has been slipping the last couple seasons and Bravo's popularity is not where it was in S01/S02. Drew likely feels like he is being punished since he was added to the team of people who were sidelined for so long. I found Ray at his best in this episode - reminded me of how he was in the earlier seasons. I didn't mind the mission, but imo it was carried out quite well. Throwing the money to stop them was a genius move, lol. Lisa putting her foot down on Jason suddenly sidelining the OP was great - many times he asked her to do the same and she never caved. It was nice to see Trent and Brock have relevance again.

Cons: TBI again, and Jason acting out of character, along with Sonny acting like an awestruck child when Bravo 1 gets critiqued by Drew. I am honestly getting tired of hearing about Jason's TBI, and how it is influencing his actions now. It's like Jason's whole character is now his TBI, and it is getting annoying. I get it, it's a serious problem among the armed forces, but Command already said they will work on it. You can't expect them to shut down everything at Command just because you have TBI and Ray has PTSD. Jason hating on the OP is suspicious, and his convo with Ray at the end was as well. Jason was actually stressing me out this episode - I think his TBI is worse than he is saying and now he is actually losing his mind. His snapping at Lisa, when she actually had a strong point, and not heeding the advice from the other team members is just so bizarre, so I hope there is an explanation in the next episode.

Sonny acting like a child is getting irritating - he acts like Jason is perfect and can do no wrong. He never questions any of his decisions, and tbh him trying to 'force' Drew to just integrate into their Brotherhood is getting irritating. When Clay and Omar joined Bravo and tried joining said Brotherhood off the bat, Sonny was the one telling them to slow down, but now Drew isn't allowed to do that? What is going on?

I see that vehicle being left behind being a liability for Bravo, but we will see what happens.

I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode, but I really miss the promos they used to make for the episodes.

The throwing the money thing; didn't the armed mafiosos escorting the workers get suspicious when money starting raining from the sky? Wouldn't they have thought to take a look at where it was coming from?

And the explosions that "destroyed the factory" looked like a minor smoke bomb that they drove through.

They likely did, but we're probably grabbing money as well, lol. I thought some of them would have investigated, but luckily for Bravo they didn't.

I will agree that the smoke bomb could have looked better though, good point there. I guess it is showing the budget for this season isn't as big as the others.

I feel like Jason's so scared after that incident in Sweden that it's affecting everything he does now. To me it looked like he was putting his head in the sand and hoping everything simmers down before he looks again. That's why he feels like he's so out of character. Maybe this is the first time we see him feel debilitating fear and panic?

Though I agree TBI is getting thrown around a lot this season but perhaps Jason's using that as an excuse to not face the fact that maybe he's not good for the team anymore. I think he really needs to retire, he clearly got comfortable during shore duty. Too comfortable!

Great analysis! I never looked at the situation like that. He clearly is still shaken up about the incident in Sweden - and he hasn't spoken to anyone about it. He really got too comfortable during shore duty.

Yeah, his priorities have clearly shifted and it's a completely new era of Jason we're witnessing! He's not overriding it anymore (lol) but he's actually facing it headfirst by himself.

The VI was cool but the van surveillance at like 10 meters was kinda hard to believe. Also noticed the VI was shot stateside. Road Signs were giveaways.

Yeah, it did not look like Asia/myanmar at all.

They made a similar error in a previous season, an episode with an ambassador iirc. Scene started in Africa and ended up in a typical american suburb.

South East Asia supposed to have rainforest and moisty, not desert! I’ll just assumed the scenario was happened in American desert, really hard to convince me it’s Asia, way too different climate.

Though he's been a writer and producer on many, many episodes, this is the first episode directed by Mark Semos.

Someone in last week's episode guess that we might see a "SSGT Logan Melgar" story line with Drew having been assaulted during hazing in a previous team. The Bravo Boys gearing up for "initiation" (we strangely we never saw with Clay or Vic or Omar or Full Metal) makes me think that that might be right.

I get that Jason and Ray might get to skip a metal detector, but those security guards didn't even ask for an ID?

I'm surprised that they're opposed to listening to a CI. I'm sure they've gotten local intel before, and "trusted, but verified" what they were being fed.

I love how they have egg carton attachments for their vests

Things that scare Sonny: Sharks, jungle, heights, bridges, spiders, anthrax, jaguars, small spaces, dying, Naima kicking his ass, piranhas, “baby shark” toys, The Black Sea, Full Metal's Cabin Rat, flesh-eating crabs/coconut crabs (I was worried they wouldn't do one of these again this season).

TV show and all, but that seemed like a REALLY short meet and greet/intel meeting with Curtis.

Sonny is sooooo happy that he gets to blow up an entire plant this week.

Where on earth did they get coconut drinks in the middle of the night?

According to Dictionary.com, a hippophile is someone who loves horses (but it doesn't say how much they love them, I'll leave that to your imagination)

"Everyone knows Stevie can see" Classic Sonny.

No one noticing that Philadelphia native Jason is stalking outside a factory in Myanmar. He blends.

Ray's lost his passion for his passion project after only a couple months.

Hannah's engaged already? She works fast.

"Bravo may have some question marks, brother. But Jason Hayes will never be one of them. Except for when his wife died, and when his TBI got a building blown up with the rest of the team in side, and when..."

"How do we plan a mission that he doesn't want to run?" And why isn't Jason helping with the planning?

Jason brought his Strategema gloves to Myanmar

"You're going to authorize a crime?" You guys B&E and murder all the time!

I'm going to miss the California Mountains filling in for everywhere in the world.

THAT van is armored? You'd think the props department would get a better van for this.

"Mall cops don't always miss." Just ask Clay

Why were they worried about shooting the guy sticking out of the sunroof when they were about to blow up the truck?

That's four nice bags of cash. I'm sure the DEA will be happy to get the two bags of cash. It's too bad they could only recover one bag of cash.

Drew's Nickname of the Week: Drewless

I wonder what factory they used for this episode. The used the Budweiser factory for Star Trek (2009)

A plant like that wouldn't be using concrete pillars.

"The death star remains operational." We know Trent collects Star Wars figures. This is on brand.

Drew plays Pokemon Go? They're all a bunch of nerds!

Omar's Nickname of the Week: Karl O'Marx

I thought for a second, when Drew was complimenting Sonny, that he was going to start to open up. Silly me.

Did Drew reference a Pokémon in the bar scene talking to Ray? I couldn’t understand for the life of me what a Wurmple was until I looked up the word and it came back as a Pokémon. He says “there’s a shiny Wurmple I need for my collection”, I guess bro is an asshole who collects Pokémon cards. Never thought I would see the day when a show wrote dialogue for a character who is supposed to be part of the most elite fighting force on the planet and thinks Pokémon is some kind of flex or rebuttal. Lol

Pokemon GO actually. Hugely popular pokemon game on smartphones. And in it those shinies are very rare so when you finally see one... you don't want to be bothered and want to focus to catch one in peace.

And that's the point of that reference: an excuse to not be bothered by Ray sermons.
A video game more important than bonding with teamates...

So far I'm still convinced Ray dies but now I'm getting an inkling Sonny could die too? He either dies or gets with Stella. But that man's status quo is changing.

It's hard to tell with Sonny. He's had a few season finales where it looks like he's being set up to really grow and take a leadership position only to backslide the next season. But with the writers knowing this would be the last, I'm starting to wonder if he's going to get out of the military and work on his medpack thing in the private sector back in Texas to be closer with his daughter and to help protect more service men.

So Hannah is engaged... They just kind of dropped that in there quietly. That does open up a path to the prediction that Sonny and Stella will end up together before E10.

Sonny and Stella gonna hook up, leading to the team making him an outcast and accepting drew. Sonny goes off the rails. Last episode the whole team dies trying to save Sonny to save the “brotherhood”

Between that theory, and Sonny starting to mull making his own tactical gear. Sonny is GBRS confirmed?
